44 Caliber .429 240 grain round nose flat point plated bullets manufactured in the USA. Two things make these bullets superior to others, the hard lead core and thick plating. These bullets are made with a very hard lead core and are plated thicker than most of the commonly available plated bullets. The plating on these bullets is 7/1000-8/1000 of an inch and that comes standard on all of Northeast plated bullets. Other companies commonly sell the thicker plated bullets as a separate product for more money. Thick plating and a harder lead core is the standard on all of our bullets. These projectiles are totally enclosed in 100% pure copper plating to cut down on airborne lead, reduce fouling, and cost much less than jacketed projectiles. Each bullet is swaged to size and weight, plated, and then resized a 2nd time to ensure consistent diameter. We have tried many different brands of plated bullets and these are hands down the best we have seen.
