223 Remington brass, fully reconditioned to SAAMI .223 Remington Specification. This material began its life as loaded 5.56 Nato and .223 Remington. It is ready to load, has been resized, deprimed, trimmed to 1.745″ +/- .005″, primer pocket inspected, primer crimp reamed, pressure checked for cracks, and washed. All you have to do is prime, charge with powder, seat a bullet, and crimp! You can now save tons of time by cutting out the worst part of making your own ammo! Great care has gone into processing this material, we know you will absolutely love it! Get all the benefits of new brass at a fraction of the cost! Spend more time shooting and less time behind the bench trimming and swaging primer pockets!
Note: This brass is processed on commercial grade equipment that does things that a dillon 1050 cannot. Most notably the primer pocket is reamed, not swaged, meaning the crimp is physically cut away with a pocket reamer. The large majority of issues with processed brass are primer seating related. This reaming process eliminates those issues entirely. Another reason commercial grade equipment is superior is that it also pressure tests for cracks. If a case cannot hold 15 PSI which is usually the result of a crack or blown out primer, it will kick that case off the line.

This brass was exactly what the doctor ordered. It was clean, trimmed to Sammi lenght and full length sized properly. All primer pockets were swaged. Looks fantastic and so far they have loaded great.
My thanks to northeast reloading for a price that was competitive and shipping that was inexpensive and very quick.

Mike,
Thank you for your excellent review, its industry standard to call anything that is processed to .223 Remington spec exactly that. You do raise a good point that people should know that although the cases are brought to SAAMI .223 Remington dimensions, customers should know that some cases are 5.56 Nato. It is in the description that the material started its life as .223 Remington and 5.56 Nato so customers are made aware that the stamps are mixed. Thank you sir!

248 total close enough. Nice perfect trim with really good polish. Perfectionists will want to brush inside of neck and primer pocket but not necessary for plinking. Just prime and load.

Brass looked fine, had 1 primer pocket I had to ream and was short 16 pieces out of 2000.

Mike,
I just went ahead and had the men ship you another 50 pieces for your troubles to cover the shortage. I also had them double check all of our counting scale calibration settings, we do that every 2 weeks. You should see the replacement on your doorstep soon. Thank you and my apologies for the shortage!

Fully processed 223 brass showed up packaged well. Not one piece out of 1000 was out of spec. Great buy.
