The clear bags are the most efficient way to ship reloading supplies. All carriers are very rough on the packages no matter what anyone does. We have tried using plastic boxes and even cardboard inner boxes but anything rigid in packaging will crack or split. After having shipped hundreds of packages every week since 2012, the current use of heavy gauge bags and reinforced tape has proven to be the best. We have very few claims with carriers though it’s not uncommon when shipping heavy items that inner packaging can open. I’m glad you did not have any missing product.
