.224 Diameter 55 grain spire point bullets manufactured in the USA by Speer. These bullets are a spitzer profile, do not have a cannelure, and have a lead core with a copper jacket. The projectiles will expand rapidly and make a solid varmint, paper puncher, or self defense bullet. Speer does a wonderful job at making great bullets at a great price point. We have seen reports of customers pushing these as high as 2900 FPS with no issues at all. AR's, Mini 14's, and Ruger Americans have all been used with excellent results with these projectiles.

Hornady's 62 grain Full Metal Jacket boat tail, .224 diameter, with cannelure.  These are a popular choice among those that want a 62 grain projectile that does not draw a magnet, these projectils do not have any steel in them.  They feature a copper drawn jacket and an all lead core, they are what you would expect in terms of quality from Hornady.  They are very consistent and well made, a better balance of quality and price cannot be found with any other manufacturer.  Anyone looking for a heavier bullet that doesn't carry the higher hollow point boat tail price, look no further.

22 caliber .224 diameter 40 Grain polymer tipped V-Max bullets from Hornady.  We specifically brought these in at the request of a number of customers that are loading 5.7 X 28 though these can be used in a wide array of other cartridges.  Hornady's V-Max Bullets feature a polymer tip which enhances accuracy and promotes devastating expansion. The tip raises the ballistic coefficient for faster velocity and also acts as a wedge, initiating bullet expansion. The boat tail creates in-flight stability for long-range shooting. Hornady's swaging process creates precise formation of the core around the tip of the bullet, creating a build-up of energy which contributes to its phenomenal performance. The copper jacket provides the necessary bearing surface for maximum stability out of the barrel, and the jacket is built to withstand the fast twist rates of the most advanced varmint rifles. This is not loaded ammunition.
