38 Caliber .357 148 grain double ended wadcutter bullets manufactured in the USA. The double ended wadcutter is very popular among bullseye shooters, it cuts perfectly round holes in paper for excellent visibility. Two things make these bullets superior to others, a hard lead alloy and thick plating. These projectiles are totally enclosed in 100% pure copper plating to cut down on airborne lead and reduce barrel fouling. Each bullet is swaged to size and weight, plated, and then resized a 2nd time to ensure consistent diameter.

I have a Smith & Wesson Model 52. Considered a “midrange” target pistol, it shoots 38 spcl . Do you recommend your plated…or the lead…wadcutters for the model 52? thanks
ANSWER: Though we have not tested the plated 148 HBWC in a model 52 ourselves, after having spoken with several customers about their best loads, most are using the lead hollow base wadcutter in a Model 52 with bullseye powder. The plated 148 hollow base wadcutter will likely work well and will no doubt burn cleaner, but the best answer to your question is to use the lead hollow base wadcutter not the plated one for your Smith model 52. Another tip we got is that it is important that you seat the wadcutter flush or just beneath flush to the end of the case mouth for it to function reliably in the model 52. Thank you for your business!
