Premium tumble cleaned 44 magnum brass off our indoor shooting ranges ready to ship now! This material has been mechanically sorted 3 times and hand sorted once, it will undergo a final hand sort before packaging to ensure accuracy. Headstamps include but are not limited too Federal, Remington, Winchester, and Starline. We are tumble cleaning this material and as with all of our brass orders we add an additional 2% to the overall weight ensuring you get your money’s worth. Something we have noticed with many revolver cartridges and subsonic rifle cartridges is that there can be powder burn marks on the casings. The burnt powder gases can get in between the cartridge case and the chamber walls when being fired and leave a discoloration. Not all cases will have these discoloration marks but some can, they will not impeded function.

I am disabled and use auto indexing progressive press with case and bullet feeders. Bullet feeders are picky about the flair so case length is important. 44 Rem Mag Trim-To-Length (TTL) is 1.275” and I allow -0.003” for going through. The others are fine for use I just have to hand feed the bullets. Anything over TTL is trimmed.

Thank you for the excellent review! The USA makers such as Federal, Remington, and Winchester are so far off the reservation on pricing of loaded complete 44 magnum that the ranges are not buying it. Wholesale 44 Mag from Federal is nearly $1.00 per round so once it gets to a retail shelf, it’s well over $1.00 per round at a range. They’re buying the PPU, S&B, & Magtech over anything else. We’ve had good results with those headstamps.

I just went ahead and gave you a credit to make up for the cleaning condition of the brass. We have noticed with 44 mag, 44 special, and all the military lake city brass that even after 2 hours in a heavy abrasive media, there is discoloration that will not come out. It isn’t raised at all and isn’t anything that is caked on there that would come off in your dies. It almost appears to be burnt into the case. I am going to add this to the description of these items so customers are aware. Anyway, I’m glad you liked the projectiles you purchased with the 44 cases, I trust the refund I sent will satisfy the brass issue. If you need any assistance please shoot me a text or call!
