One of the great things about the XTP bullet is reliable performance, it features controlled expansion where six serrations divide the bullet into six symmetrical sections. These sections weaken the jacket to allow controlled expansion at low velocities and ensures fragmentation does not occur at high velocities. The XTP bullet is really known for its stopping power.

Each XTP Bullet has a swaged core and drawn copper jacket to ensure uniform expansion and in-flight stability. 45 caliber .452 diameter 300 grain Hornady XTP Jacketed Hollow Points.  The Hornady XTP is a premier defense and hunting bullet with a swaged lead core with a jacket divided into 6 symetrical sections.  The 6 sections are created by serrations in the jacket to aid controlled expansion at lower pistol velocities for deep controlled penetration.  Most defense bullets out there are designed to expand at one factory specified velocity, the XTP will expand over a range of pistol velocities.  The cannelure keeps the jacket married to its swaged lead core and makes a good anchor point to crimp the projectile.  Overall these are an excellent bullet for 45 Colt, 454 Casull, or any other cartridge calling for a .452 diameter projectile.  These projectiles will do well in either pistols or rifles.

All indoor shot and stored large primer 45 ACP, mixed stamp material, fully sorted to remove small primer and nickel plated brass.  This is one of our best selling products on the site and for good reason.  It is mechanically sorted 3 times then sorted by hand twice to remove any damaged brass or foreign calibers.  Once it is brought to all 45 ACP it is then sorted by hand again to remove any small primer pocket brass.  As always we are tumbling this brass and adding an additional 2% to the overall weight of the order to ensure you get your money's worth.  Purchase this brass with absolute confidence in quality, accuracy of sort, and cleanliness.  

We have not had enough time to produce much of this material as it is so labor intense to remove the small primer from the large.  When we first started in 2010, small primer brass accounted for an average of under 5% of the total load.  Currently we are seeing between 30% and 50% small primer Blazer, Federal, and Speer brass that must be removed.  The time it takes to sort this material properly, the way our customers have come to expect has increased by an average of 600% from when we first starting selling this brass.  Though our labor cost has increased dramatically on this product, we will not cut corners and put out a sub par product, that is our commitment to our loyal customer base.
